Witness Intimidation: Meeting the Challenge
This monograph explores the form that witness intimidation can take, identify victims and witnesses who are most likely to be subjected to intimidation, as well as examine where and when intimidation is likely to occur. It also identifies and discusses 1) recommendations for training, cross-training, and collaboration, 2) strategies that will help to prevent intimidation or minimize its effects, 3) strategies to uncover the presence of intimidation in the context of individual cases, 4) strategies for effective response to intimidation occurring within the context of individual cases, and 5) trial strategies for cases involving witness intimidation.
