Technical Assistance on Institutional Analysis, Comminty Assessment and Safety Audits

Through email, phone, audio/video conference and limited on-site assistance,                                         OVW-funded communities planning or implementing community assessment projects can receive individual, customized consultation and support in:

• Developing a budget and work plan
• Articulating the goals and outcomes of your assessment
• Determining the scope of your assessment
• Formulating the focus of your assessment
• Fitting the basic elements of institutional analysis to the needs and politics of your community
• Organizing and motivating your assessment team
• Strategizing an assessment work-plan
• Gaining cooperation and participation from agency directors
• Developing a strategy for data collection and analysis
• Conducting focus groups that frame an assessment team’s analysis
